SBWI offers several different types of educational opportunities. Course length can range from 4 hours to 1-year. Scroll through the different types of woodworking classes to see which type works for you. Click on the button to see the available offerings for each course type.
5-day courses that focus on specialized skills such as, wood carving, veneer, marquetry, Stereotomy, timber framing, and more.
Windsor Chair Classes are 5-7 days long. Students will start with a log and complete a windsor chair or rocking chair during the course period.
These courses include Cutting Boards, Carve a Wooden Spoon, Introduction to CNC Woodworking, Wood Shop Safety, SketchUp for Woodworkers, Band Saw Boxes, and more.
These courses include Intro to Woodturning, Bowl Turning, and Bowl Turning for Beginners
Courses that focus on Timber Framing and Carpentry.
Course specifically designed for women who want to learn the essentials of woodworking.
By embarking on the journey in our Wood Design:Furniture Making Career Program, you are opening yourself up to many opportunities.
Successful participants of the 40-week program will graduate with a Professional Diploma in Wood Design.
