The key to using hand tools correctly is a sharp edge and proper setup - learn how the masters make it look so easy. Learn several techniques to make your hand plane “shaving sharp” and get ready to make paper-thin shavings. Students are encouraged to bring along their own hand planes, but shop tools are also available. No experience required. High-quality sharpening tools will be provided.
