Explore the world of instrument making with professional luthier Gary Zimnicki of Zimnicki Guitars.

Students will make a OOO body style acoustic guitar. Solid Indian Rosewood back & sides, Spruce top, Dovetail neck, 24.9" scale, White endpiece & heelcap, 28 Style top & back inlay.

Gary Zimnicki is a world renown luthier (stringed instrument maker) from Allen Park, MI. Gary has been building guitars, mandolins and ukuleles since 1979. In 2011 he began crafting instruments from wood removed from houses in Detroit. These exceptional instruments pay tribute to the history of Detroit and the craftsmen who built the homes.
