Mortise and tenon joints are the foundation of fine woodworking. They are used in tables, cabinets, timber frame construction, and much more. In this class we will learn how to layout, cut and join parts together with this tried and true joint. Week one will focus on cutting joints with hand tools and week 2 will focus on machinery. Week 3 will focus on advanced mortise and tenon, glue-less mortise and tenon, and combining machine tools and hand tools.
